Meet the Staff –  Todd Lambert Todd Lambert was born in 1970, and grew up in Western Canada.  A large, vibrant Japanese-Canadian community in his local area was a major influence in a budding curiosity about things Japanese.  He first became interested in sumo when experiencing the buzz and excitement surrounding the Osaka basho on a vacation to Japan in the spring of 1997, and has been fortunate enough to be able to follow sumo closely since moving to Japan in 1998.  When not watching sumo, he spends his time hiking, skiing and reading.
