 After graduating in English and Linguistics I moved to Italy to teach, but came home after 3 years to study winemaking. For a few years I yo-yoed between the northern and southern hemispheres working in the wine industry, with the result that I didn’t see spring or summer for 4 years! When I realised that the wine industry is ‘all work and no pay’ (or vitamin D), I moved to Osaka as a business English instructor. Now I live in Kyoto and work as an editor, escaping to basho whenever the boss isn’t looking! |
