Ex-sekiwake Akinoshima was remarkably good at uwatedashinage and won over 30 bouts with that technique. Of the currently active rikishi, a fast and agile bunch, consisting of Aminishiki, Ama, Tochiazuma and Hakuho, have substantial capacity in performing high quality uwatedashinage.
